Natural Intrigue

windows and people

There is an understanding that peeking is sneaky. But when done with the intention of simple curiosity it is a means of observing human nature at its most natural. When I see glimpses into people’s windows, I often experience a sense of comfort – feelings of relatability and connection are provoked. The view through a window is a visual tease – the snippet of a story. The restricted frame gives one the chance to indulge in their own fictionalized narratives of the scene, much like a photograph.
