Each painting is an active window into another reality. Each reality reflecting an otherworldly landscape inhabited by unearthly beings.
In conversation with the science fiction, I construct outlandish and dreamlike environments, capturing an unsettling stillness of a divergent reality. Being drawn to the unique products of nature, I look to interesting rock structures and organic forms as inspiration for the entities which inhabit these worlds; they reflect a familiarity of what we see in the real world, whilst encapsulating an uncanny image and presence of their own.
