You may remember completing a short survey for me a few weeks ago out of 178 students 159 of you completed the survey.

I’m not going to publish all of the questions and results,

just those that caused me to THINK about what this website

would contain.

Cyberbullying:

42% of you have experienced unpleasant comments online this was slightly higher for girls

Only 50% of you told an adult.

Pictures of a Sexual Nature:

Girls are more likely than boys to have been asked to send a picture of a sexual nature,

50% of girls have been asked to send a picture or video of themselves

75% of you know someone who has sent a picture or video like this

Does the internet put pressure on you to act or look in a certain way?

61% of girls agree that images on the internet encourage them to look and act a certain way, some even report feeling pressured.

Nearly 50% of girls report having negative feelings about themselves because of images they see.
