In preparation for my interview, I crafted a presentation aimed at showcasing my professional background, expertise in fashion, research on retail trends, familiarity with the company, and innovative ideas to set myself apart. However, the HR representative I interviewed with seemed taken aback by the unexpected presentation, displaying minimal interest in my insights on the “future of retail.” Nonetheless, my efforts managed to impress her, leading to the revelation that the interview process would span three stages: one with her, another with the merchandising team, and a final practical assessment.
Kalina Milenova Boss Interview Presentation
Filled with excitement at the prospect of this opportunity, I approached the interviews with a positive mindset, confident in my performance. However, after weeks of silence, I reached out via email, only to discover that the recruitment process had been put on hold, presumably due to budget constraints. While disheartening, this experience provided valuable insight into the rigors of interviewing for substantial roles, bolstering my confidence despite the setback of being made redundant prior to securing the position.
Navigating the workforce amidst a recession has left me feeling somewhat nihilistic, yet this experience has instilled in me a newfound sense of self-assurance and a realistic understanding of the recruitment process for such positions.
