App Improvements

Following my chat with Mark and a read through his UX design book, it was necessary to go back into Figma to make some improvements on the SWAPP app again as looking at it with fresh eyes made it clear that it was A – clunky but also B- not actually interactive as a prototype. Mark advised me to work on it some more and make it interactive to develop my idea further, this involves making all the buttons on the app usable and responsive to put together a better idea of how the app would function as my prototype before that was only just still screens. Mark also advised me against the red and pink colour combo but also to tone it down with the colours on the app and keep them just as embellishments rather than having the entire screen pink or red.
So this was my prototype before improvements:

After taking it upon myself to figure out how to add navigation throughout the app I have ended up with something like this :

Here I have stripped the colour to start on a blank slate and added in navigation although it is still a little limited, it has helped to bring life into the prototype. The next steps moving forward with this are to embellish the website with the brand colours but also not overdo it as I did with the pink and red, by keeping colours to a minimum.
