Lighting setup for prototype pictures

A two point lighting system, established as a key light and bounce light, grants good exposure and contrast, and allows for better control of the shadows. A backing light was not necessary as the frame of the pictures only included the tumble dryer top.

Displaying the app

Recorded video of navigating app on Figma. Video played in background with PNG image of phone and watch compiled on top of video. Hole cut through the screen of the phone and watch on the PNG to show the video behind. Gives impression the video is playing on the watch and phone. This type of shot would never be filmed live action on the phone and watch as the screens would reflect the lighting setup unevenly, making it difficult to see what is occurring on the screen.

Clipping and arranging media, colour correction, re-framing, transitioning, masking, adhering to the “180 degree” or “don’t break the line” rule, text editing, chroma keying, Dereverbing audio, stabilising footage and many other processes.

Video is a composition of live action footage as filmed by myself, and free stock footage found on Pexel.com.
