For my Personal project I shall be exploring the process of creating visual narratives in the form of storytelling. The work I intend to create over these weeks will take inspiration from the science fiction novel: ‘The Suns of Scorpio’, written by Kenneth Bulmer under the pseudonym of Alan Burt Akers. The primary goal of this investigation is to focus on translating a sense of continuity in narrative while exploring as many creative mediums as I can.
While I have not planned a definitive outcome for this project, I believe a book or document could be interesting to construct from the pieces I make as the project progresses, without any constrictions on maintaining a set style. While the current circumstances mean my plans for an animation might have to alter, I am very excited about the prospect of exploring music to accompany my visual work, as that was one of the most interesting avenues I felt I explored throughout the rotation projects.
