For a promotional feature, we wanted to explore using a stamp to connect with our potential readers. We want to engage with our audience on a night–out event where we share our promotional stickers and our stamp to share detail to our magazine’s social media/ link tree. Issie designed the stamp and sent over mockups of the final design. I researched what size stamp to get and where to buy from. The options I sent to the visual promoters were the ones below. We went with a larger stamp in the rectangle stamp, so the stamped letter is readable. We all agreed on going to the night–out event as we could capture more content and talk to more people about Nosy, reaching a wider demographic.
At the night out event, it was Iris and Imogen, and we went to Casa Blanca on a Thursday night (the 8th). At first, we were incredibly nervous, and the vibe of the pub was very off to go and talk to strangers. At 11 pm the club opened and because we were in the pub before we got free entry. This was a lot more our demographic, tone, and was a lot easier to start talking to people. This is where we started really promoting the event and adding content to the social media and prepping content for the magazine or social media posts.
