Gilleam Trapenberg (photography) research

When looking into research for the photographer role I came across Gilleam Trapenberg. I first editorial use of the bird’s eye view I saw within his photography. At this stage, I have only really thought of street photography from the bird’s eye view, but I think using It within our front cover with some styling and location scouting would be exciting. Trapenberg’s portraiture is very deadpan and experiments with a lot of angles. I feel like within his imagery he can catch the model’s presence through the fit within the image. I’ve written a longer analysis within my sketchbook page on the left. To improve my own photography, I want to research lighting and equipment and start to understand more the way to get a higher image quality and presence.
