Nina Shoot

Nina was Anna’s model she brought it when discussing the concept, we know we wanted it to be in the studio and focus on Nina’s frame and artwork on her body. For the lighting I know we wanted to use bold colors and a spotlight to direct the light to Nina. We were aiming to get shots with experimentation with lighting, and close ups, and we were also shooting her interview part. I did the styling for the shoot, and even though she is nude I supplied the sheer dress which I think compliments Nina so well. I looked through her Instagram before the shoot to understand her personal aesthetic and presence to the world and this helped me prepare for the shoot when planning poses and other elements

From this shoot we got so much imagery to look through and edit. picking a few edits to make it to the final magazine as I edited over 40 images for the outcome. The shoot was super successful, and we loved the imagery. Working on the lighting was fun and fixing the camera when needed was also good to help and be included in the shoot. I wish for the interview I made the set lighter but anna wanted just Nina’s face to be in the interview and focusing this light with a spotlight cone. Hopefully while editing the film, I can make it a bit brighter on adobe premier to ensure the visibility of Nina and how she acts as she speaks which is a detail I want to focus onto into the final film (body language).
