On the sketchbook page on the left, there are my initial drafts for billboard advertisements. I experimented with different fonts and sizing of my logo and was trying to experiment with negative space. I found this process really exciting because with an outcome like this you need to figure out the perfect layout for the image and even moto invited to be the most eye-catching. The research I did really helped me construct my billboard as I started to understand how fashion advertisements are perceived and the graphic design behind it. I chose to include a motto for my sub-brand within the billboard which is “Creating a mutualistic relationship between our fashion and our environments”. I wanted to include a motto to enforce and inform future customers what the overall action force is of the brand rather than just some pictures as my sub-brand isn’t as publicly known this is needed in this circumstance.
