With this still life shoot, I did not go into it with a lot of planning so I was a bit clueless on what I wanted my final outcome to be so the shoot didn’t turn out how I wanted it to. To fix this after I edited the images I decided I wanted to reshoot this still life shoot which I will write up in another blog post. The contact sheet for this shoot is below, what I wanted to create was to create a relationship with the clothes and the props due to the lack of a model however I feel like I didn’t achieve this within the shoot due to my need to reshoot.
Below are my final two edited images, I think the final outcomes are ok however they could be better and I wanted them to be more eye-catching and create a narrative. I think also only my use of jewelry in the final two images could be pushed into other items of clothing to elevate the still life imagery and create a wider collection of imagery which I will do in my reshoot.
