As a result of the scrappy finish of the french fold and swatch book, I created a concertina and redeveloped the imagery – therefore it looked neater, whilst the imagery also evoked more of a decay aesthetic portraying my Grandma’s disintegration as a person. I also used my grandma’s handwriting so that it clearly represented her, with the handwriting becoming more messy as the book went on reflecting her decay as a person.
