SAMISH – zine

Online SAMISH zine I printed the zine onto recycled newspaper, so that it followed the sustainability theme. Furthermore, it is cheap to produce, meaning the message can be spread. It also added an artisan feel associated with the Congo Sapeurs.

SAMISH- Gold

I decided to use the colour Gold as a backdrop, due to its reference to religious iconography associated with both Congo Sapeur and Amish subcultures. It also evoked the bright and happy mood of the Congo Sapurs. I also reused the fabrics above involved in both the styling and illustration development.

       Playing around with different medias and textures, reusing fabric to create the editorial works like the congo sapeurs.
