Students studying on any of the Engineering Pathways will have to opportunity to take up an Impact Factory project as part of their 3rd year individual (XE636), and 4th year Major Team Projects for those on engineering masters course.

Professor Atkins (a visiting Royal Academy of Engineering Professor) and Professor Morgan also deliver lectures as part of first year engineering practice and energy systems modules to introduce you to the Impact Factory concept. We also run extracurricular activities open to all students. 

The Impact Factory is something different, a bit quirky and a unique University of Brighton experience. We all have to think out of the box if we are to solve the sustainability crisis so, if you are interested in messy problems come and talk to us!
