SASS PSYCHOLOGY LAB & CREATIVE METHODS LAB

The lab offers a range of equipment for use by psychology dissertation students and staff and creative methods equipment, as well as information on how to use it. Alongside various technologies related to Psychological methods (e.g. CCTV, GoPro Cameras and other video technologies) the Lab is also in possession of 2 Oculus GoThe Transforming Sexuality and Gender Research Cluster has paid for a range of creative methods equipment that is also located in the psychology lab. This is for priority use by the cluster.

Nevertheless, the School of Applied Social Sciences is very interested in exploring research partnerships with other schools in the University using some of their research-grade eye-tracking and psychophysiology monitoring equipment. To book equipment, or for general inquiries about the Lab, please click here to contact the psychology technicians (Joe Rennie-Taylor and Martina Sladekova) with the details of the resources you will need, and when you will need them. Please try and book equipment at least 4 working days in advance. Please also say whether you would like to pick them up from the lab, or whether you would like them set up somewhere else. If you wish to cancel a booking please let the Lab supervisors know as soon as you do.  Equipment will be loaned on a first come first served basis and is subject to availability.
