The Humanities Society fortnightly seminar series will kick off again in October.
The first meeting will take place on October 3 in the Edward Street Lecture Theatre ES105 where a number of staff teaching on the Humanities programme will introduce their work to the student community, all in good style with some drinks and nibbles.
This event is followed by further events every other Thursday, from 6:30pm till 8pm, always followed by a social meet up with students and staff.
Speakers will present on a wide range of topics including Vasilis Leontitsis will be speaking about ‘Plastic Pollution’, Paul Reynolds from Edgehill University 0n ‘Sexual Literacy and What it Means to Learn about Sex: a Radical Perspective’ and Robin Dunford and Michael Neu will be launching their new book on Just War and the Responsibility to Protect: a Critique, with a drink reception and a big social event on October 31st.
Students are encouraged to take part in discussion following the talks in an informal and social environment.
