I feel proud of what I’ve achieved during my time at the University of Brighton, particularly in light of the lockdown limitations.
The positive feedback from the MA tutors has given me more confidence in my ability, whilst their constructive criticism has helped me to become a better writer.
Perhaps the biggest thing I’ve learnt is the confidence to stand up and say ‘I am a writer’. Small words with huge potential.
It was important to me to focus my research on something that felt close to me personally.

Brighton has been the perfect place to study because of the creative and accepting lifestyle here. I love being by the sea and the connections to London are perfect.
