Second-year students are hosting a day of presentations today to discuss placements and the creative projects they’ve been involved in as part of the Literature and Media in Practice module.
The event promises to showcase the talents of individual students, the benefits of placements and creative projects and the practical employment and life skills that they’ve learnt.
Keynote speakers include Dr Craig Jordan-Baker and Julie Everton.
Ben Carey, one of the organisers explained the benefits of the day, ‘The event is really crucial for learning about placements and working on personal creative projects. Any student would be smart to come.’
The event is running in the Checkland Building on the Falmer Campus.
Refreshments will be on offer in the Asa Briggs Foyer between 11:50 am and 12.20 pm.
