Nothing’s Changed, a poem by Veneta Neale

Hear work from MA Creative Writing student Veneta Neale performed by Michael R Bowes.

The poem “Nothing’s Changed” was written as a response to the 2009 London riots. Inspired by the Godfather of British Dub poetry, Linton Kwesi Johnson and deeply influenced by his poem “The Great Insurrection” about the Brixton Riots in 1981.
