Creative Writing MA graduate publishes second novel

Patricia Osborne is a novelist, poet, and short story writer who graduated from the University of Brighton in 2019 and is just about to publish her second novel, The Coal Miner’s Son.

As well as working on her own writing, Patricia is a mentor to fellow writers and I am an online poetry tutor with Writers’ Bureau. She was 2017 Poet in Residence at a Victorian Park in Crawley where her poetry was exhibited throughout the park. In 2019 her poetry was on display at Crawley Museum.

Her poetry pamphlet, Taxus Baccata will be published with Hedgehog Poetry Press in Spring 2020 and she has had many poems and short stories published in various literary magazines and anthologies.

Patricia’s debut novel, House of Grace, A Family Saga, Book 1 in the House of Grace trilogy is set in the 1950s and 1960s. Book 2, The Coal Miner’s Son, was published 9 March 2020. ‘The Granville Legacy’, a work in progress is the third and final book in the trilogy but not in the series.
