Check if you are eligible for a grant available to care experienced students

Student grants are available for some final year students who have spent time in the care of a local authority or are care-experienced.

The non-repayable grants, through the  The Pyrus Trust are available to students undertaking arts and media related courses including some courses in the School of Humanities. A full list of these is available to download from The Pyrus Trust information page.

Applications open on Monday 8th October 2018 and the deadline is Friday 9 November 2018.

The university has a suite of additional funds, also known collectively as hardship funds, for students in financial need. The main fund is called the University of Brighton Student Support Fund

These funds are open throughout the academic year, so please contact the Student Advice Service for more information or download a form from the web
