Women of Impact: Triple success for Fashion and Dress History students

Three students have taken on prestigious roles with prestigious societies.

Two BA Fashion and Dress History graduates have been selected for  Costume Society Ambassadorships and a final year student has been awarded an Association of Dress Historians 2018 Student Fellowship.
Jade Bailey-Dowling is a recent BA Fashion and Dress History graduate, and current History of Design and Material Culture Masters student. Emma Kelly is recent graduate from the BA Fashion and Dress History. The Costume Society is one of the leading Learned Societies for the study of fashion and dress. Past ambassadors from the course include students Ruby Helms and Sarah Mary Geissler.
Emmy Sale has been awarded an Association of Dress Historians 2018 Fellowship. Emmy is the sixth student to gain the fellowship. The role will include the promotion of the charity on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
