The Public Health Principal provides specialist public health expertise to Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), and supports the wider public health agenda to improve outcomes and reduce health inequalities. The post holder works with the CCG to shape strategic thinking so as to ensure the inclusion of a public health perspective in plans and strategies for NHS commissioned services; and leads on specific work areas relating to protecting or improving health, including quality issues in primary care, cancer and children’s health and wellbeing.
