Radiography course facilities

The University of Brighton has a wide range of facilities to support the learning of our health students which enable students to develop their skills in real-life scenarios.

Diagnostic Radiography students benefit from a new Clinical Imaging Suite which includes:

  • X-ray table and tube
  • PACS/DICOM image store
  • Clinical imaging simulation software.

In our well-stocked libraries you will have access to relevant books and journals to support your development as a radiographer.

  • taking a chest xray
  • students using the xray table
  • students using equipment in the radiography suite
  • students behind the protective screen in the suite
  • simulation on the xray table
  • putting on a lead apron
  • hand xray equipment
