Great family fun day

Student Support and Guidance Tutors in Falmer ran a Family Fun Day on Saturday 14th May which was attended by School of Health Sciences (SHS) students with their children. SHS has a high proportion of mature students, and although the University of Brighton does not collect data on student parents, we know anecdotally that we have many parents studying with us in the school. There are so many challenges for this group of students, and we wanted to show our appreciation as well as give them a positive day at the University of Brighton which they and their children could remember. As well as a 13 foot high bouncy slide and a 12 foot long python, students and their families could enjoy handling many reptiles, face-painting, circus skills and hand massages.
