Professor appears on Desert Island Discs
Nick Webborn, Clinical Professor of Sport and Exercise Medicine at the University of Brighton, appeared on Desert Island Discs this weekend. Nick has chaired the British Paralympic Association since 2017 and is a world-leading expert on Paralympic sports medicine and the most widely-published author on the subject.
The Radio 4 programme has been running since 1942 and guests are invited to imagine they are shipwrecked on a desert island, and to pick eight records to take with them.
More than 3,000 shows have been recorded with a range of diverse guests including David Beckham, Dame Judi Dench, Yoko Ono, Michael Johnson and Professor Brian Cox.
