Della dances to success
Della Lawson, who graduated with a BA(Hons) in Physical Education, has won a place at the prestigious Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance in London.
Della, who received her degree at last week’s ceremonies, also collected the Dean’s Prize for performance in physical education. She will be studying post-graduate community dance at the conservatoire.
Della said: “I absolutely loved the course at the university and I’d do it all over again if I could.”
Della worked as an ambassador for the University of Brighton for four years. One of her bosses, Sarah Hogg, Director of Sport and Recreation, said: “Della was a fantastic student – nothing was too much for her. We are thrilled for her and wish her well at Trinity Laban.”
