Retail graduate shares her experience with students
Recent Retail Management BA(Hons) graduate Beci Hudson returned to the school to talk to second year students about her exciting first graduate role.
Beci is Space Planning Assistant at Debenhams and she looks after the space allocation at 30 UK based Debenhams branches. She makes strategic decisions on over 40 categories and brands including Henry Holland, Jasper Conran, Ted Baker and Ben De Lisi.
As part of her session Beci set the students a practical challenge of allocating space at both the Brighton and Eastbourne Debenhams stores testing their knowledge of merchandising.
Beci said: “My degree could not have prepared me better for my current job, I do miss being a student here but it was great to come back and share my expertise.”
It was great to see Beci back and we’re really grateful to her for spending a day of her holiday to inspire our current students.
