Students jump into the new term

Sport Coaching BSc students were treated to a team building day after the Christmas break.

Students from all years of the course descended on Urban Jump trampoline park accompanied by course leader Dr Anastasiya Khomutova.

The event was part of our ‘Belong At Brighton’ activities, designed to ensure students make the most of their studies and social life and really feel like they are part of the university community.

Anastasiya Khomutova, Sport Coaching Course leader said: “This was our third annual away-day for students.

“Days like this are not just fun – they allow students from all years of the course to connect with each other and form bonds. It also helps to re-charge and have fun before the assessment weeks start.

“I love organising this event because It brings so much joy to the students, and I can also join them for some jumping around!”

Anastasiya’s enthusiasm was echoed by the students:

“It brought me closer to other year groups that i may not have talked to if it wasn’t for this trip.”

“It was great fun with my peers and also a sport activity which was great linking to our course too.”
