New accreditation for Exercise, Health and Rehabilitation Science degree

We’re thrilled to announce that our Exercise, Health and Rehabilitation Science BSc(Hons) degree has been endorsed by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA). 

The endorsement is against two CIMSPA Professional Standards: 

• Health Navigator (Occupation) 

• Working with People with Long Term Conditions (Population) 

The CIMSPA Endorsement confirms that the course meets industry standards and provides graduates with the knowledge and skills that employers have identified as most valuable. 

Exercise, Health and Rehabilitation Science BSc(Hons) is the fourth sports-related degree at the university to achieve recognition from CIMSPA, alongside the Sport Management,  Strength and Conditioning and Sport Coaching degrees. Our Sport and Exercise Science BSc(Hons) is professionally accredited by BASES (British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences). 

In addition to professional endorsement Brighton students also benefit from brand new facilities at our Falmer campus which was renovated and upgraded this year.
