Nursing student writes for the Nursing Times on self-directed study

Adult nursing student Karin Vertue has had an article published by the Nursing Times. In it Karin discusses self-directed study and the resources available both inside and outside the university.

Karin said: “The article came after I had written some pieces for a new book that is being published for student nurses.

“One of the themes I wrote about was the role of self-directed study and the impact this can make on you both in your understanding of what is being taught and also what a lifeline it is to keep you motivated on your nursing journey.”
