Accreditation for our Nutrition Degree

We’re delighted to announce that our Nutrition BSc(Hons) has received accreditation from the Association for Nutrition (AfN) which will benefit both current and future students.

The AfN protects and benefits the public by defining and advancing standards of evidence-based practice across the field of nutrition and at all levels within the workforce.

AfN Programme Accreditation is a quality mark awarded to degree programmes which meet the high standards required by the AfN.

Graduates of our AfN Accredited Programmes are eligible to apply via Direct Entry for UKVRN registration as a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr).

A photo of HarveyCourse leader Harvey Ells said: “I couldn’t be more delighted that the AfN have recognised our course as delivering evidence-based nutrition education to a professional level.

“For our successful graduates, being able to now register with the UKVRN as an Associate Nutritionist on completion of their studies, will be a great advantage as they embark on their careers.”

You can find out more about the benefits of studying on an AfN accredited degree on the AfN website.

We were granted AfN Programme Accreditation in December 2020 and will be due for reaccreditation in 2025.
