NCTJ accreditation

We’re delighted to announce that our two new postgraduate journalism courses have joined our undergraduate programmes to receive accreditation by the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ).

National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) accreditation is recognised in the industry as the best indication that new recruits have the skills and knowledge to become effective multimedia journalists in a busy newsroom.

Simon McEnnis, course leader said: “We are delighted to receive NCTJ accreditation which is a sign of both the quality of the courses and their relevance to the journalism industry. Our students can be satisfied that they can become highly employable graduates by gaining both an NCTJ Diploma and a Master’s degree award in either Journalism or Sport Journalism.”
