Ioannis takes the Chair

Dr Ioannis Pantelidis, Principal Lecturer at the School of Sport and Service Management, has been appointed Chair of the Council for Hospitality Management Education (CHME).

The CHME represents over 60 universities and further education colleges and offers higher education programmes in the fields of hospitality studies, hospitality management and related fields. CHME aims to contribute to the professional development and status of UK and international hospitality management education through the sharing of best practice in scholarship and pedagogy.

Dr Ioannis said: “This is a great honour and one which I believe reflects the high quality of hospitality courses offered by this University.”
