Getting off to a flying start
Hospitality management students at the School of Sport and Service Management got off to a flying start with their studies.
Third year undergraduate students returned to their course and started by exploring key trends in international hospitality management. They also worked together to come up with strategies as to how to best fill in any gaps in their knowledge as they embark on their final year.
Next up for our undergraduate students is working on their research posters and they have already split themselves into teams to work on their unique hospitality concept. The results of their work will be displayed in an exhibition taking place in January.
Postgraduate hospitality students joined Dr Ioannis S Pantelidis in the Imaginarium to discuss how imagineering can be applied to their own dreams – from starting their own business to continuing on to PhD studies.
The students have already identified several possible approaches to how innovative design can lead to memorable experiences in hospitality management and beyond!
And we’re only in week three of the new academic year!
