A truly international Christmas

Christmas is always a good opportunity to celebrate with friends across the world and the Culinary Arts Studio was no exception when first year International Hospitality Management BA(Hons) students enjoyed an early but traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings!

The hospitality students were joined students studying at the university’s International College in Brighton as they decorated the tree and prepared their lunch. With students from 12 different countries around the table it was a time to share the differences in how we all celebrate, what we eat and traditions such as the crackers, hats and those infamous jokes!

We all wished each other a Very Merry Christmas in our 12 different languages and talked about how we use this learning to ensure that in the practical environment we can ensure our customers have the very best experience possible.
