Physiotherapy student crowned Aquathlon world champion

Congratulations to Chloe Pollard, one of our Physiotherapy BSc students, who has been crowned under 23 Aquathlon champion of the world.

Chloe finishing the swim at Lake Okanagan, Penticton, in British Columbia. (Friday 25th August).

Chloe, who is in her third year,  represented Great Britain at the International Triathlon Union World Championships in British Columbia, Canada. Dominating the 1km swim, Chloe finished one minute ahead and completed the 5km run well ahead of her Canadian and Australian rivals.

Chloe has a history of success, after recently winning silver in the UK National open swimming championships and European Gold at the Aquathlon Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia, in May this year.

Chloe currently studies on our Eastbourne campus and trains regularly at the local University Sports Centre in between studying and placements.
