Selling award for hospitality placement student

International Hospitality Management BA(Hons) student, Lan Jin, has received an award for being Hilton Hotels second highest regional up-seller.

Lan spent her placement at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London near the Tower of London working in their front desk department. She joined the International Hospitality management course following a year at the University of Brighton International College.

Lan said: “I successfully finished my internship on the 13^th June. It was an amazing time at Doubletree with great colleagues. I also became the second top-up seller of the region in Hilton which was the first reward ever for our hotel.

“I had hard times and suffered from adapting to a different culture, but I really appreciate that I could have the chance to work with such lovely people. I’m so proud to say that my one year internship was such a success!”

Lan was awarded a set of vouchers to use at Hilton Hotels and a certificate of achievement.
