Innovation in Teaching award for hospitality course team

Two School of Sport and Service Management lecturers were winners of the award for Innovation in Teaching at this year’s CHME (Council for Hospitality Management Education) 2017 Research Conference.

Principal Lecturer Dr Ioannis Pantelidis and Senior Lecturer Ken Woodward both teach on our undergraduate and postgraduate hospitality courses at the Eastbourne campus. Although they were unable to attend the event in Denmark the award was collected on their behalf by hospitality graduate Dr Maria Gebbels.

Maria completed her BA, MSc and PhD at the school and is a great testament to the quality of teaching offered. Maria also picked up Best Presentation award at the event in relation to her PhD research.
