HOSPA scholarship for hospitality student
Alice Desplancke, International Hospitality Management student at the School of Sport and Service Management, has received a HOSPA Hospitality Career Investment Development Scholarship.
The awards are a unique way of recognising upcoming talent in hospitality, finance, revenue management and IT professionals and the prize included a full day’s attendance at HOSPACE 2016 where Alice was presented with her award.
Alice was nominated by Helen Atkinson, Principal Lecturer and Honorary Fellow of The Council for Hospitality Management Education, who said: “We are as always delighted to be involved with the awards and the opportunities that they bring to our hospitality students. Alice receiving a scholarship has made this year’s event even more special.”
Hospitality students at the University of Brighton benefit from our many links to industry which include the Institute of Hospitality, Council for Hospitality Management Education, and our affiliate membership of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
