Posgraduate courses – periodic reviews
There were several successful periodic reviews on 15th June. Well done to the course teams for MSc degrees in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Health Promotion and International Health Promotion. Professional bodies and external reviewers were complimentary with a number of commendations. The teams had worked well together to promote inter-professional learning, highlight staff and student research and reflect contemporary healthcare locally, nationally and internationally. This review was the second at PG level across the merged School of Health Sciences.
On 11th May there were successful periodic reviews of the Practice Teacher, Mentorship, and Return to Practice modules and validation of the new course, the Postgraduate Certificate Transforming Professional Practice through Education. Well done to the teams from across the school who were commended on their strong research-based curriculum and links with practice partners, innovative internal and external teamwork to develop the inter professional focus and meeting the different agendas of a number of professional, regulatory and statutory bodies across the health professions.
