AHRC research networking grant

Dr Adrian WILSON (senior lecturer in history at Leeds University) and Dr Tania MCINTOSH have been awarded a £30,000 AHRC research networking grant. This is to build inter-disciplinary network to explore ‘The risks of child-birth in historical perspective’. We will be running 3 research conferences/workshops (1 in Brighton, 1 in London, and 1 in Leeds) to develop themes with a view to a further substantive grant and to publications. The network involves historians, clinicians, sociologists and a philosopher.
