Lecturer joins pre giro event

University of Brighton lecturer and British Paralympic Cycle Team coach Dr Gary Brickley presented at the Giro College Tour in Wittenborg this month. The event took place at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences as a run up to Giro D’Italia, the annual Grand Tours cycling race, which kicks off in May.

Dr Brickley spoke about winning eight gold medals in Beijing in 2008 and his aims for the team in Rio 2016, as well as the interesting career opportunities available in the field of sport.

The event also served as an introduction to Wittenborg’s new MSc in Sport Business & Management, which will be offered from October 2016 in collaboration with the University of Brighton.
