Students show their best dance moves for charity

Dance Rivals 2016 took place on 26 February at Atlantis nightclub on Eastbourne pier.

The annual event raises money for Chelsea Children’s Camp which offers an annual residential trip for disadvantaged children.

The event was opened by Dance (who aren’t part of the judged competition as they are just too good!) and then the fiercely fought battle between the nine entered teams commenced. As the pictures below show it was most definitely a night to remember.

judgingAs the judges considered their verdict it was time for the Student’s Union to strut their stuff – all in the name of fun.

The event was won by Men’s Rugby who regained their title after losing it at last year’s event. Second place went to Netball and third place went to Men’s football.

Men's Rugby seem rather pleased to have the trophy back!

The event raised over £4,000 – one of the best totals ever in the events history.
