Exciting new placement partner

Sport Business Management BSc(Hons) students now have the opportunity to spend their placement with Sport Arabia Worldwide as part of a new partnership.

Roger Myall, Sport Arabia Worldwide’s director and founder, graduated from the IZS_2830-2University of Brighton in 1997 and founded the company in 2006. He visited students in the School of Sport and Service Management this month to talk about the business and launch the new partnership.

“I’m really excited by this, as students will be able to help with our marketing, especially social media and product development” said Roger.

Sport Arabia offers a range of tours to schools and clubs with sports including cricket, netball, rugby and football. They are the largest organiser of sports tours to the UAE and other destinations include, France, Barbados and Nepal.

Students who are successful in securing a placement will have the opportunity to escort a tour group to Dubai.

Adam Jones, course leader said: “We are really thrilled to have Sport Arabia Worldwide on board. Students will have the opportunity to put their learning into action in the fastest growing area of tourism, sport tourism, with a company with an established offering and great reputation.”
