Lidl Sales Operations Executive Visit

Retail Management BA(Hons) graduate Filip Jicinsky returned to the School of Sport and Service Management to talk to current undergraduate students about his role as Lidl’s Sales Operations Executive for the Prague Region in the Czech Republic.

Filip graduated in 2007 and was appointed as a Retail Associate, working on a two-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership between Rick Stein’s retail operation in Padstow and the School of Sport and Service Management. During this time he also gained an MSc in Evolving Retail Strategies.

Filip now overseas the operation of 30 Lidl stores that generate revenue of over £7m per week.

Filip also explained how important, the knowledge gained on his degree, has been to his successful career.
