WSET Awards

Last weekend in the Culinary Arts Studio, students were able to study for their Level Two Award in Wines and Spirits hosted by Erica Dent from Enjoy Discovering Wine.

Over 40 wines were tasted over the weekend with key focus on grape varieties from regions across the world, the terminology of the label and food and wine pairings.

Student Charlotte commented: “The course was so interesting that I forget everything else for the whole weekend”.

Abi, who completed her WSET Level 1 Award in Wine and Wine Service  in her first year of studying said: “Having the qualification on my CV was instrumental in securing my placement.”

The WSET Awards are recognised throughout the industry and are an excellent extra qualification to add to your CV. New students joining us will also have the opportunity to complete Enjoy Discovering Wine course at the Eastbourne campus.
