Showcasing at the student exhibitions

University is not just about writing essays and our students get opportunities to showcase their learning and talents in our student exhibitions.

The importance of the visual image was highlighted by International Hospitality Management first year students as they showcased their own poster creations called ‘hospitality in my home town’.

With students from around the globe studying on the course this proved to be an exciting and interesting way everyone to find out more about the international hospitality business.

Final year students choose an aspect of hospitality and present a trade exhibition to demonstrate their new concepts and innovations. The exhibition is visited by members of the public as well as staff and students from the University of Brighton.

As one student told us: “I really enjoyed the exhibition and it was nice to have a module that had a large practical element in our final year.

“Creating a new concept and getting positive feedback from fellow students and lecturers felt great. It allowed us to really think about what is going on in our industry and understand what people want. “
