Retail guest speakers

Guest speakers are just one of the ways we help students put learning into practice and we invite a huge variation of influential figures to the school to talk to our students.

Recent speakers included Dr. Patrícia Soley-Beltran has a PhD on Sociology of Gender and currently teaches for the Open University of Catalonia.

Dr Soley-Beltran has a keen interest in fashion shows, advertising, the body, gender and national identities and related issues. She has worked in media as fashion model, actress and a TV presenter.

Dr Soley-Beltran’s guest lecture New ways of seeing? Modelling gender identity in advertising focussed on gender identity in advertising.
